My breakfast food book, 4 ways I love to eat my breakfast

Hi girls, I wanted to write something about my fitness routine, but since I destroyed something in my leg it was not possible to take any pictures. It really sucks and hurts and I hate the fact that I cannot go to the gym, but today you’ll read everything about the food I eat in the morning. This is my breakfast food book.

A breakfast food book sounds a bit weird, but I didn’t want to make a diary. Firstly, I don’t like to write every day down what I eat. Maybe it is good to eat very healthily, but when I want something bad I don’t want to share it if I don’t want. Secondly, it is boring to read and write on Monday I ate this, on Tuesday I ate this, etc. In my breakfast food book, I share what I eat in general. This new post is all about my breakfast favourites.

Me and my breakfast

For me, a breakfast is very important. When you don’t eat breakfast you can get fat easier. This because you don’t start your digestion at the right time. When you sleep you don’t eat anything for many hours. So in the morning, you need to help your body starting your digestion.

My favourite breakfast is something with oats. I love to eat overnight oats, oatmeal pancakes, oats with banana peanut butter and dark chocolate and banana pancakes.

Oats with banana, peanut butter and dark chocolate

150/200 ml coconut milk, 4 tbsp oatmeal, 1 banana, 1 tbsp dark chocolate, 1 tsp peanut butter. Smash the banana, let the milk cook, when it cooks, add the banana. When it cooks again, add the oats and let it cook again. But it in a bowl and add the chocolate and peanut butter. Be careful, it can be hot.

Overnight Oats

250 ml milk (I prefer coconut milk), 100 grammes oats, coconut rasp, raisins and 1 banana. Start with smashing a banana and mix this with the milk, add the oats, coconut and raisins and mix it all. Put this into the fridge, when you wake up the next morning you can add some fresh fruit and it’s ready to eat.

Oatmeal pancakes

1 banana, 4 tbsp oatmeal, 1 egg and 1 egg white and some baking powder. Smash the banana, add the other ingredients and mix it. Put some coconut oil in a skillet and make small pancakes, make 4 in one skillet. I like it to add some kiwi and maybe syrup or agave syrup.

Banana pancakes

 2 eggs, 1 banana and cinnamon. Smash a banana, mix the eggs with the banana. Put some coconut oil in a skillet. When it is done, put the cinnamon on the pancakes. For the extra taste, I have added some blueberries.

I like natural pancakes but that’s not that healthy I gues and also I get hungry again far before lunchtime. Not so good so I’m gonna try the banana pancakes. Looks very good and together with outs it must be perfect! 😀

I also always eat breakfast. It’s the most important meal of the day! I make my own oatmeal with almond milk and banana

Ik ben een van die mensen die vaak niet ontbijt. Haha… Maar een van mijn favoriete ontbijtjes is kwark met ananas, mandarijnpartjes en wat geschaafde amandelen en dan kan ik voort tot de lunch. Geen dipje en ook niet te vol. 🙂
